SAZABY LEAGUE, Ltd. announced that it has entered an exclusive distributorship agreement with natural product label, Soaptopia. Japan’s store number one will open in early April in the renewed Tokyu Department Store Shibuya Station Toyoko Store after its grand renovation.
Born in a beach bungalow in Venice, California, Soaptopia initiated retails in 2005. All Soaptopia’s natural soaps are made with a base of the finest 100% pure plant-derived essential oils, Senegalese shea butter and Italian olive oils blended together. The soaps are then carefully handcrafted in small batches by cold processing. The vibrant colors are all natural and synthetic free, derived from plant ingredients like dry raspberries and pomegranates.
Under the motto “Love & BELOVED, ONE LOVE”, various items, ranging from natural soap to body care, are offered with founder Jolie Chitwood Cox’s enchanting sense of humor and love.
At present, Soaptopia retails worldwide through its main store in Venice, CA, its official website, and US organic supermarket Whole Foods Market. In Japan, Ron Herman (also managed by SAZABY LEAGUE, Ltd.) in Sendagaya, Tokyo began handling Soaptopia products in 2011. This time, Shibuya, the hot center where massive redevelopments around the station area are underway (i.e. opening of Hikarie and renewal of Tokyu Toyoko Store) is chosen as the home ground for its first store in Japan. The bustling city is expected to steer up the sales.
