The 2013 SS Collection of eco-conscious line!! by agnès b. will be pre-sold on the 1st floor=The Stage of Isetan Shinjuku main building from May 22nd to 28th.

agnès b. has provided disaster support for the Tohoku Earthquake under its concept “give love.” This season, under the theme “French design meets Japanese craftsmanship,” the brand introduces a fusion of craftsmanship of Fukushima, Japan and French design into its apparel.

T-shirts and cardigans are produced using eco-friendly materials such as organic cotton dyed with botanical dyes and adorned with embroidery or shirring by artisans in Fukushima. Also, a wide variety of eco-friendly items such as accessories made from leftover pieces of cloth used for agnès b. clothes and telephone wire, and necklaces made with ivory nuts, which naturally fell off from trees are featured.

At the event space imaged after the brand’s atelier, the process of botanical dyeing and other methods of producing its designs are expressed. For those who purchase over 15,750 yen during the event period, an original notebook made by recycling the feces of elephants and old paper will be provided as a novelty.

The collection will be sold at agnès b. stores throughout Japan from May 29th.
