Japanese rock band “Buffalo Daughter” will open an exhibit titled “Happy BirthDay BD20!” in commemoration of their 20th anniversary. The exhibit will be held at Tokyo Cultuart by BEAMS, on the 3rd floor of BEAMS Harajuku store. From July 26 to August 7.

The exhibit is planned and supervised by the band themselves. It introduces their history from the launch of the band to the activities with Beastie Boys hosted label “Grand Royal.” Also, their past works, photos, visuals, instruments, objects and costumes will be on display.

Two 7-inch singles- “Cold Summer (c/w Daisy),” the first release from Grand Royal decorated with collage by Keiji Ito, and “Sax, Drugs And Rock'n'roll c/w Jellyfish Blues (live)” with a cover created by Hajime Tachibana, are available in limited reprinted edition made in America as a set. Also, new T-shirts and metal badges of “NEW ROCK” will be in store.

A recording of “Peace Remix” by Ad-rock (Beastie Boys) is available for sample listening from July 16. On July 24, “ReDiscoVer. Best,Re-recordings and Remixes of Buffalo Daughter” (from U/M/A/A) with new sound sources and remixes by Ad-rock, Keigo Oyamada, Aiha Higurashi (THE GIRL) plus live sound source feat. Hajime Tachibana will be released.
