Jewelry brand “The Kiss” collaborates with “Rebuild of Evangelion.”

Black rhodium coated silver rings (12,600 yen each) and necklaces (13,650 yen each) for couples are lined-up for the collaboration. The designs are imaged after EVA Unit 13 and the piano performance played by Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa. The designs depict a ruined world. When the pair items are put together, a heart shape to express the bond between Shinji and Kaworu will appear.

The Shinji model is decorated with amethyst and the Kaworu model with sapphire. The rings are inscribed with the message “I realize now that I was born to meet you” and the necklaces with the message “Good things come when we play together.” Both are famous lines by Kaworu.

The jewelry will go on sale from Aug 24 at directly operated The Kiss stores, The Kiss online store, EVANGELION STORE TOKYO-01 (in Harajuku, Tokyo) and Evangelion online store.

The popular anime series began to be aired on TV in 1995. In 2007, the movie version “Rebuild of Evangelion” began as a new series. Part 3 of this series made 5.2 billion yen in box office revenues. An exhibit displaying 1,300 items relating to the anime is open at Matsuya Ginza until Aug 26.
