OKADA TEXTILE based in Koyaguchi, Wakayama will hold a pop-up event on the 1st floor of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi. From Sept 11 to 24. This is the second pop-up event for the brand at a department store.

6 styles totaling to 17 items using OKADA TEXTILE’s high-quality faux fur combined with different materials will be introduced. The line-up includes- chokers, cagoules (scarves with a hood), vests and stoles. The items using knit switched over with different material were made in collaboration with a knit designing and producing company improve co., ltd. based in Kobe.

Tsuguhiro Okada, president of the company says, “We may hold one more pop-up event at a department store this fall.” OKADA TEXTILE specializes in faux fur and supplies products to high-end brands each season. Koyaguchi, where the company is located, is a place, which manufactured fabrics since the Edo period and furry pile fabrics since the Taisho Period. Applying this technique, the company produces faux fur, velours, moquette and chenille for fashion items, sundries, interior goods and industrial materials.
