NUMBER TWENTY-ONE, an original women’s shoes brand launched by Isetan Mitsukoshi two years ago, launches a new brand for sneakers this fall. The new brand “NUMBER TWENTY-ONE THE BLISS” collaborates with three reputable sneakers factories in Japan. Items from the brand are in stores from Sept 11.

The new brand boasts made in Japan sneakers, and it introduces 3 different lines, created by each of the factories it collaborates with.

THE BLISS MOONSTAR, in collaboration with MOONSTAR, presents sneakers made with Kurume’s splashed kimono fabrics. MOONSTAR (headquarters: Kurume, Fukuoka) was founded in 1874 and uses a rare vulcanized manufacturing method.

THE BLISS Rhythm was developed with Daikobe Seika located in Kobe, Hyogo, which has a long-standing history of chemical shoes. The line introduces real leather heeled sneakers, pursuing qualities easy to walk in.

THE BLISS 72 Puntre, collaborates with a factory (location: Himeji, Hyogo), which has earned its recognition from famous sports brands worldwide. The line introduces pumps-type sneakers with colorful wedges.

Prices are reasonably set between 10,500 yen and 19,950 yen. The items are lined-up at Isetan Shinjuku, Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, Ginza Mitsukoshi and Nagoya Sakae Mitsukoshi (sales at this store begin on Sept 18).
