From the 2013-14 AW season, Dickies lines-up apparel from the “Takumi Line,” made with Japanese craftsmanship. The latest items are being sold at the brand’s store in Kichijoji, Tokyo.
The project, which is selective about materials, sewing techniques and processing, has been realized with the support of Japanese factories. Five factories, including those in Okayama and Fukuyama, the meccas of denim and workwear, participated. The line-up includes: jeans, chinos, cargos and work shirts. Average prices are from 10,000 yen to under 30,000 yen.
Dickies is a casual workwear brand founded in 1922 in Texas, USA. The brand lines-up apparel for men, women and children, along with accessories such as bags and caps in around 100 countries.
