Canadian free publishing “Vice Magazine” hosts the photo exhibit “Global Photo Collaborations by Vice Japan.” From Nov 22 to Feb 14, 2014 at Diesel Art Gallery in Shibuya, Tokyo.

The magazine was launched by global media Vice in 1994. The unsparing critique and unique editing of the magazine are popular and distributed in 25 countries around the world. When its photo issues are published, the magazines disappear from the cities a few days after distribution.

In the Japanese edition of the photo issue, world renowned photographers and artists come together. Kim Gordon, Roger Ballen, Richard Kern, Sandy Kim, Asger Carlsen, Arvida Bystrom, Masaru Tatsuki, Jin Ohashi, KYOTARO, Keiichi Nitta, Shintaro Kago and Motoyuki Daifu are featured in the issue.

Vice operates in 35 cities of the world and manages VICE.com, music channel “Noisey,” art project “The Creators Project,” technology channel “Motherboard” and mixed martial arts channel “Fightland.” Over 80,000 Japanese users are registered on the company’s official YouTube channel, recording over 10 million views these past 9 months.
