From 5:30 pm to 11 pm on Dec 11 and 12, Van Cleef & Arpels will hold a projection mapping show at the restaurant Joel Robuchon Ebisu located within Yebisu Garden Place.

The projection mapping handled by French artist Hugues Reip is held in commemoration of Van Cleef & Arpels’s 40th anniversary in Japan. Under the theme “Fairy Castle-Where Fairies Live,” a night sky with colorful stars shining, gigantic meteors made of ruby and emerald, and fairies and butterflies dancing around are projected.

At the same time, a campaign is held on Twitter. 40 people will be selected by lucky draw out of those who respond with the hash tag # Fairy Castle to the question “Which creatures fly through the air with elegant wings at Van Cleef & Arpels Projection Mapping ‘Fairy Castle’?” The selected 40 will receive an illustration book titled “Line of Happiness.” The question must be answered by tomorrow (Dec 12). Winners will be contacted through the brand’s official Twitter account.

Hugues Reip is an artist who expresses himself through drawings, sculptures, visuals, neon lights and more. He participated in an exhibit held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo in 2008.
