INCONTRO will open the first solo shop in Japan for the brand Vivienne Westwood Anglomania. The store opens on Feb 22, 2014 on the 1st floor of Laforet Harajuku.

Anglomania is the diffusion line launched in the spring/summer of 1998 by Vivienne Westwood. The brand has entered into licensing agreements for the first time in preparation for 2014 spring/summer. Patterns and prints symbolic of the designer and new designs arranging archive collections will be in store.

The 2014 spring/summer collection lines up womenswear and lifestyle items such as house dresses and beach towels. Items made of recycled materials are also available.

Leather jewelry making use of scraps produced when creating the paper jewelry for the Gold Label, printed tote bag made with recycled bags for storing coffee beans, “Sock Animal” (large- 31,500 yen, small- 19,950 yen) made by sewing together socks and tights, and more items following the designer’s philosophy of creating earth friendly products will be lined up.

Discarded timber from vessels is reused to decorate the interior. At the back of the register counter, graphics depicting Piccadilly Circus in London upside down will be set up. Ecological bottles are provided as gifts for the opening.
