This year marks the tenth in Frisoni’s career as Creative Director. In that time he has widened the lineup from just shoes to including a variety of accessories, effectively heightening the brand’s recognition. Not only that, Frisoni is credited with winning the hearts of Roger Vivier fans by taking archived works such as “Virgule (Comma heels)” and “Prismick” and updating them according to his own sensitivity.
Frisoni believes that “A browse of the new Matsuya store will reveal that over the past decade we have succeeded in establishing a concrete Roger Vivier world.”
