More stores are to be opened throughout the country; “GUESS Namba PARKS” on Mar 8 or 9 and “GUESS Canal City Hakata” on Mar 15. At both stores, 80% of the lineup will be dedicated to the women’s collection and 20% to men. The main price range for women’s items are: 7,000 - 12,000 yen for denim items, cut and sewn from 4,500 yen, dresses from 12,000 yen, bags from 14,000 yen, and watches from 12,000 - 28,000 yen.
GUESS was launched in the U.S. in 1981 by the Marciano brothers from South France. With denim items as its core, the brand grew its business into a total fashion brand for women, men and children, lining up apparel and accessories at 1,690 stores in 89 countries around the world. However, children’s items will not be available in Japan this season.
