On Mar 15, IMA Concept Store will open on the third floor of Roppongi AXIS in Tokyo. Business hours are from 11 am to 10 pm. The concept of IMA is “Living with Photography.” It publishes IMA magazine and manages the IMA ONLINE as well as holds events and seminars relating to photography.

The 500-square meter space will be the largest commercial area in Tokyo dedicated to photography. The space will house the IMA Gallery, IMA Books and IMA Cafe. JTQ handled the space production, Kohei Nawa led SANDWICH handled planning and design, and Brown: Design handled graphic design.

IMA Gallery will exhibit and sell art photos. It will serve as a space to casually enjoy the world of photography from different angles. Group exhibits of overseas photographers, themed exhibits, lectures, workshops, talk events and more will be provided.

At IMA Books, approx. 2,000 books including photo collection books published overseas which are rare in Japan will be sold. Events in line with the contents of IMA magazine and books suitable for gifts and interior decoration will also be available.

High quality coffee will be served at IMA Cafe, supervised by OBSCURA COFFEE ROASTERS.
