Laforet Harajuku will renew its premises to open fifteen shops this February and March.
The e-commerce site “Usagi Online,” which lines up a variety of items including fashion, music and artworks will open its first actual (offline) store dubbed “Usagi Online Store.” After the renewal, Laforet will introduce fashion and vintage items, illustrations by overseas artists, books, original items and other lifestyle products. Mila Owen will also open on Mar 1. “Dolly & Molly,” a Korean brand popular amongst celebrities such as KARA and Girls' Generation, a solo shop of “diddlediddle,” a brand which lines up Laforet exclusive items and one-of-a-kind products, GUESS and Vivienne Westwood Anglomania will open on Feb 22. Lingerie shop “Yummy Mart” and the first “Seatree art cosmetics” shop in Japan will open on Mar 15. In all, eleven new shops will open.
GR8, a select shop which lines up high end to street brands, will enlarge its shop space. In addition to lining up brands such as Balenciaga and Rick Owens, it will feature new brands and exclusive items. Cosme Kitchen, which lines up organic and fair trade items, will also be renewed. In commemoration of the renewal, it will line up a kit including an environmentally friendly bag adorned with Snoopy motifs. Priced at 5,250 yen. Together, four shops will be renewed.
