Y’s Pink Label’s first solo pop-up opened at Shibuya Parco Part 1 today. Until May 22.
At the venue, items from part 2 of the collaboration project with US-based artist Shohei Takasaki are on sale. Dresses, shirts, pants, eco-friendly bags and smartphone cases are adorned with the dynamic line drawings and paintings of the artist.
In addition, the new “Gipsy” line inspired from skater fashion is being presold. Loose-fitting T-shirts and polo shirts, parkas and pants are the main lineup. The brand name was created by adding the word “pig” to “Y’s” and then reading it backwards. The design concept is based on the liberal lifestyles of Gipsies.
Under the new concept “wear unisex clothing,” the brand “Y’s neutral” will also open a pop-up for 2014 SS items from May 23 to June 22 at the same venue.
