The newly opened “Isetan Haneda Store (Ladies) Terminal 1” targets trendy jetsetters that want to experience a one-stop and fun shopping experience during their stay at Haneda Airport.
The store is separated into four main sections- Trend, Weekend, Vacation and Cafe & Relax. The Trend zone set-up by the entrance lines up bags and other fashionable accessories selected by Isetan Shinjuku department store, along with a gift shop organized by ReStyle. The highlight of the zone is the number of collaborations with Japanese brands that work closely with Isetan. HYKE, mina perhonen and Muveil to name a few. Until Sept 9, the store lines up 100 cans of popcorn from Garrett Popcorn Shops each day.
The Weekend section proposes lifestyle goods suitable for travel and everyday use. A variety of items from both overseas and Japanese brands such as kate spade new york, Faliero Sarti, Coohem and REDCARD are in store. Travel goods from Flight 001 are being selected by Isetan for the first time here.
As the name suggests, the Vacation corner lines up sandals, hats, sunglasses, room wear and skincare products suitable for travel. Frank & Eileen, James Perse and Diane von Furstenberg are among the lineup of brands.
The Cafe & Relax section offers products from Rose Bakery and Sky High Juice Bar, in addition to the nail salon “uka.”
“We’ve had happy feedback that our stores are raising the quality of Haneda Aiport. We perceive this as a new type of challenge that a department store needs. It’s a great opportunity for us to market the Isetan brand, and we’ve made a point of lining up original sundries using our ‘MacMillan/ Isetan’ tartan check pattern. For the opening ceremony, we played our song ‘Isetan-Tan-Tan’ to mark the start of this new venture for us,” explained a rep.
