The collaboration collection by MACKINTOSH and HYKE will go on sale from Aug 20.

MACKINTOSH is a longstanding brand that has continued to protect the design process of the rubber laminated coat first created in 1823. HYKE was founded in 2013 by designer duo Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode, former designers of the brand “green.” The brand concept is “Heritage and Evolution: progressive designs created based on the history of clothes.” It is worthy of note that the brand held an event at Isetan Shinjuku the same year it debuted.

A total of four types of outwear based on military designs such as M51 and M65 jackets are lined up. All designs introduce MACKINTOSH’s legendary rubber laminated cloth. Available in the colors black, olive drab and camel. Price range from 160,000 to 220,000 yen.

Purchases can be made at ReStyle of Isetan Shinjuku (3F), MACKINTOSH flagships in Aoyama and London, and D. EDIT of Hankyu Umeda (3F). The collaboration project will continue for three seasons.
