On June 23, the online magazine “Fashion Headline” and marketing research company IID, Inc. presented the “Fashion Headline Award 2015 Cosmetics Brand Produced by IID”.

The awards were given based on a survey of the preferences of women, who purchase their cosmetics at department stores, where they can receive face-to-face consultation about the products. The survey was conducted via online votes to find out which cosmetics brand had the most outstanding reputation of customer service.

Awards were given based on three criteria- “overall satisfaction (product lineup and visibility in store displays and more)”, “customer service satisfaction” and “favorite brand uniform”.

Shu Uemura picked up the grand prize for the categories- “overall satisfaction” and “customer service satisfaction”. Chanel won the grand prize for “favorite brand uniform”.

The survey was carried out from Apr 10 to 22, 2015. A total of 3,013 people took part, all of whom were women in their twenties or over, who regularly purchase cosmetics at department stores.
