From Oct 28, Japan-limited suitcases designed by the collaboration of Alexander McQueen and Globe-Trotter will be pre-sold at Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building.

The suitcases were designed for the “Shopping is Great Britain” campaign hosted by the British Embassy Tokyo to promote UK fashion brands to Japanese customers. The handcrafted suitcases are made with vulcanized fiberboard material, which is known for its durability and light weight.

The surface of the suitcases are decorated with Alexander McQueen’s signature silver studs and rivets. The silver handles were created for the collaboration, and the black leather straps introduce skull padlocks and bridges symbolic of Alexander McQueen.

The lining introduces black skull motifs on white fabric and the center of the suitcases are adorned with Alexander McQueen plates. The black leather pouches for storing the keys of the suitcases and leather straps are marked with Alexander McQueen’s logo.

The suitcases are available in two sizes. The 30” Extra Deep Suitcase costs 528,000 yen and the 21” Trolley Case costs 385,000 yen. In stores at Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building from Oct 28 and other stores from Nov 11.
