Fashion brands Denham, Blackbarrett by Neil Barrett and Margaret Howell opened stores on Oct 14, on the renewed men’s fashion area (6F) of Ginza Mitsukoshi department store. Also, Comme des Garcons Homme Deux moved its store space from the 7th floor to the 6th.
Denham is popular for its signature denim items and is also selling well at Isetan Mitsukoshi group’s Isetan Shinjuku department store. Blackbarrett by Neil Barrett opened its second store in Japan here, following the one at Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building.
The two brands are a part of the section named “City Sports”, which lines up clothing under the motto of “sporty styling to create urban looks suitable for Ginza”. The two are grouped with other brands including Hydrogen, Diesel, Theory, Joseph Homme, Mackintosh Philosophy, Black Label Crestbridge and 23Ku Homme Argent. One thing to note is that the entire collection of 23Ku Homme Argent was designed in collaboration with Ginza Mitsukoshi.
Near the escalators of the floor, Joseph Homme serves coffee to customers using the same machine as the brand’s cafes in the UK. Margaret Howell’s designs are presented along with other relaxed casual styles from highly-skilled Japanese brands and popular international brands in a section focusing on the colors navy and white.
Exclusive items from Canada Goose, Denham, Diesel, Theory and Blackbarrett by Neil Barrett are in store to celebrate the renewal of Ginza Mitsukoshi.
