The second collaboration between Japanese pop girl group “Perfume” and Isetan Shinjuku department store will be revealed at Isetan from Oct 28 to Nov 2. The project will also hold events at Hiroshima Mitsukoshi, located in the prefecture where Perfume members were born, Isetan Haneda, JR Kyoto Isetan and two other stores.
With the theme as “Japan New Power”, the collaboration project is divided into four parts- fashion, high heels, movies and cafe. At Tokyo Kaihouku, on the second floor of Isetan Shinjuku, T-shirts (7,000 yen) and tote bags (3,000 yen) decorated with illustrations and graphics imaged after Perfume’s three members and created by Shogo Sekine and Yoshirotten will be in store. At the same time, goods that were sold at past Perfume concerts will also be available.
Perfume members are known for their girly costumes, high heels and distinct dance moves. The second floor shoes section will line up Perfume’s dance heels in gray/pink suede (19,000 yen/pair). Available in the sizes 21 to 26 cm.
At Tokyo Kaihouku, a photo spot will be set up in commemoration of Perfume’s first documentary film titled “We are Perfume”. The film will be released on Oct 31.
At Rose Bakery located on the third floor of Isetan Shinjuku, shortbread shaped to look like high heels will go on sale. Also, a cocktail made with the sparkling wine Martini will be served at The Stand (2F) and Bistro Cafe Ladies & Gentlemen (3F).
The events lasting for 6 days will introduce fashion styles suitable for when going to concerts and music festivals. With the request of the members, different outfits combining the clothing sold at the department stores with Perfume goods will be shown.
