Illustrator/graphic designer Akira Uno has been leading the Japanese art industry for decades and is known for illustrations depicting young girls using touches of fantasy. He is now 82 years old, but his passion for creativity has not changed a bit.

Kiss the Heart, the charitable event formed in 2012 in support of the Tohoku area through art, is currently being held at Isetan Shinjuku, Nihombashi Mitsukoshi and Ginza Mitsukoshi stores.
Mika Ninagawa will showcase works which express her “dark” side in contrast to the colorful and happy pieces she is well-known for. Her solo exhibit will be held at the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art located in Shinagawa, Tokyo.
